The Central Connecticut baseball team opens Northeast Conference play this afternoon, hosting Fairleigh Dickinson in the first game of a four-game weekend series, beginning at 3 p.m.
Central and FDU will play this afternoon, a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m., and a single, nine-inning game at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The Blue Devils enter the weekend with a 5-6 overall record. The Knights are 3-9 overall.
