Football Opens Preseason Camp

This week marks the opening of the 2013 preseason camp for the Central Connecticut football team.  The team took the practice field for the first time on Monday night, following a day and a half of meetings, medical screenings and equipment handout. 


Head coach Jeff McInerney, entering his eighth season with the Blue Devils, welcomed the Blue Devils back to campus on Sunday.  On Tuesday the Blue Devils will practice once in the morning, followed by an afternoon in the weight room and meetings at night.


The full 2013 roster will be released later this week.  Central opens the season on the road at James Madison on August 31 followed by a trip to Lehigh on September 7.  They open the home portion of their schedule on September 14 hosting Holy Cross at 6 p.m.
