The Blue Devils travel to face #5 Ohio State live on the Big 10 Network today at 4:30 p.m. The Blue Devils will then return home to host Hartford on Tuesday at 7 p.m., followed by a trip to Hofstra on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. Following the Hofstra game Central will play two straight at home and six of the next seven at Detrick Gym.

Four Blue Devils scored in double-figures as the Central Connecticut men's basketball team moved to 2-5 overall on the season with a 65-56 home victory over New Hampshire on Wednesday night in New Britain. Senior Matt Hunter led the offense with a game-high 13 points while adding six rebounds and three steals. Junior Faronte Drakeford added 12 points and five rebounds as well as his three steals. Sophomore Brandon Peel had 11 points, nine rebounds and three blocks as Central moves to 1-1 at home this season. Peel has 21 rebounds in his last two outings.
SERIES HISTORY - Ohio State Leads 2-0
The Blue Devils and Buckeyes are meeting for the third time in the history of the two programs. The last meeting came in the first round of the 2007 NCAA Tournament when the top-ranked Buckeyes top the Blue Devils 78-57. Central has faced one Big Ten team this season, losing to Purdue 109-73. Last season Central fell to #1 Indiana on the road, senior Matt Hunter scored a career-high 40 points in that loss to the Hoosiers. Central also lost 79-52 during the 1995-96 season at Ohio State.
