Title: Assistant Coach

Avi Dubnov joined the Blue Devils coaching staff in 2012 as a volunteer assistant coach under Head Coach Shaun Green.  Dubnov currently lives in Middletown, CT.

As a coach, Dubnov was most recently an assistant at the collegiate level on the Trinity College men's soccer coaching staff in Hartford, CT.  He is also head men's soccer coach for the Soccer Plus Men's YPSL team where he started in 2011.  In addition to his coaching responsibilities at Soccer Plus, Dubnov is the Director of U14 Boys and Head Coach for the CJSA Olympic Developmental Program in Connecticut.

Dubnov is currently the Director of Youth Development at Soccer Plus in Hartford, CT.  He started at Soccer Plus in 2010 and his responsibilities include technical direction for U11-14 boys and girls teams, head coaching of ECNL teams, and implementation of of educational and logistical progression.  Dubnov founded the coaching education program at Soccer Plus.

From 2007 to 2010, Dubnov was the Regional Director of Coaching for MLS Soccer Camps in Mystic, CT where he became the Regional Director of coaching positions for MLS Camps in New England.  Prior to his stint with the MLS Soccer Camps, Dubnov was the Director of Coaching at Wilton Soccer Association in Wilton, CT from 2006-2010.

Dubnov has a National "A" Coaching License as well as a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, NSCAA National Diploma, and English F.A Level 1 & 2.  He received a BA in Theatre Film and Television Studies at the University of Bolton - England where he was a three year started on the men's soccer team as well as team captain.  He played semi-professionally for Spartans Athletic in Southeast Essex from 2001-2004.
