"It is an honor to represent USA," says Blake. "I look forward to returning to Mexico for the NACAC Championships. Mexico is always a great host!" Blake is being sponsored by Woodbridge Running Company and UCAN.

This is the second time Tepatitlan, Mexico has hosted the event. The mountain course is 12 kilometers, just under 7.5 miles. The course is evenly split with running six kilometers up and six back down.

U.S. Long Distance Mountain Running Team staff members will be posting updates from Mexico on Twitter.
