The Central Connecticut women's basketball team will play the Blackbirds of LIU Brooklyn on Monday night at the Steinberg Wellness Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and fans can watch live on NECFrontRow.com.

Tonight • The Blue Devils (7-6, 1-2 NEC) are looking to get back to .500 in Northeast Conference play against the Blackbirds of LIU Brooklyn (2-12, 0-3 NEC). This is the first trip to LIU for the Blue Devils since the 2011-12 season.
Up Next • CCSU will host Fairleigh Dickinson at home on Jan. 18 before visiting Sacred Heart on Jan. 20. Following Sacred Heart, the next four games for CCSU will be against St. Francis BK and Mount St. Mary's. The Blue Devils will host the Terriers (1/25) and Mountaineers (1/27) at Detrick Gym before traveling to SFBK (1/1) and the Mount (1/3).
Series History • The Blackbirds hold a 15-11 advantage in the all-time Division I series between these programs. Last season these teams met only once with the Blue Devils earning a 63-54 victory at Detrick Gym. LIU and CCSU also met just once in 2011-12 with the Blackbirds earning a 57-43 victory at the Wellness Center. Under Beryl Piper the Blue Devils are 3-7 all-time against the Blackburds.
Quick Facts • The Blue Devils scored 97 points on Monday (1/6) the second highest total in program history.
• Kaley Watras is shooting a team-high 79.4% (27-34) at the free throw line this season.
• Jessica Babe ranks 9th in the NEC in scoring, 1st in assists/game, 12th in rebounds/game, 2nd in steals/game

High Scoring • The Blue devils are averaging 78.7 points per game in NEC play. That is 15 points higher than the 63.2 ppg CCSU averaged over its 10 non-conference games this season.
Rebounding • The Blue Devils pulled down 58 rebounds on Saturday (1/11) at Wagner. The 58 boards are a season-high for CCSU, but are three off the 61 rebound the Blue Devils posted in each meeting with Wagner last season.
