The Central Connecticut women's basketball team closes out the month of November on Wednesday night against the Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference's Morgan State. The game will be broadcasted live on NEC Front Row.

LAST TIMEOUT • The Blue Devils lost a Monday night battle to the visiting Albany Great Danes, 72-60. CCSU's bench out-scored UAlbany's 23-10 led by two season-highs from senior Brianna Jacobs (9 pts.) and freshman Emma McCamus (7 pts.). Juniors Andi Lydon and Kiana Patterson both notched 15-points apiece, and Lydon recorded a double-double with 10 boards, a career-high five steals and added a career-tying high five assists.
 
PLAYER WATCH • Four of Morgan State's five starters are posting double figures scoring led by senior guard Braennan Farrar with 14.8 points, 4.3 assists, and 6.3 rebounds per game. Senior forward Lexus Spears is pulling down a team-best 7.0 boards per contest and connecting on a team-best .544 of her field goal attempts. Farrar, Spears, junior Adre'onia Coleman and senior Tykyrah Williams all average 23.0+ minutes per game.
 
LYDON LEADS • The Allison Park, PA product leads the women's basketball team in scoring and rebounding through the first five matches of the 2017-18 regular season. Lydon is averaging 14.2 ppg, 6.6 rpg and is draining .471 percent of her field goal attempts.
 
MOST RECENTLY • Never having faced the Blue Devils, Morgan State heads to New Britain after most recently defeating Northeast Conference member Mount St. Mary's, 75-67, at home last Sunday. Adre'onia Coleman led the Lady Bears with a season-high 21 points and had seven boards, while Braennan Farrar padded the stats with 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a game-high four steals.
 
IN THE NATION • Central currently ranks 54th in all of NCAA Division I women's basketball programs for three-point field goals made per game, sinking 8.0 trifectas on average. Junior team captain Kiana Patterson leads CCSU from behind the arc with 15 threes on the year on .405 percent shooting.
