Four Women's Golfers Named All-American Scholars
Four members of the Central Connecticut women's golf team were named Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars earlier this month. The awards continue a stellar season for the Blue Devils in the classroom. Earlier this spring they earned the award for attaining the highest grade point average of all 18 varsity teams at CCSU.
Freshmen Ella Williams and Kaitlyn Stoddart along with sophomore Sarah Boden and senior Nicole Pizzoferrato were all named to the team.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
