Director of Athletics Paul Schlickmann has announced the hiring of Tanya Kotowicz as Central Connecticut’s new head women’s lacrosse coach. Kotowicz just completed her second season as an assistant coach at Yale, where she helped the Bulldogs to their highest win total since 2008 while coordinating the best scoring defense in the Ivy League. The Bulldogs were ranked 13th nationally in scoring defense last season.
Senior Amanda Toke, junior Morgan Tullar and sophomore Madison Hughes earned First Team All-NEC honors. Sophomore Falynn McCartney was named to the second team and freshman Courtney McPartland was an all-rookie team selection.
The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse team has announced a change in time for this Tuesday's scheduled game with Lafayette. The Blue Devils (2-5) will now play Lafayette on Tuesday, March 25, at 4 p.m.
