Sophomore goalkeeper Jackie Branthover made 11 saves in goal for the Blue Devils in the loss.  Army's Maddie Burns had eight stops for the Cadets to earn the win.  Rachel Hornick led Army with three goals.

Army led 8-4 at halftime after a five-goal run to end the first half.  The Blue Devils led 4-3 with 13:27 on the clock after a goal from senior Jessica Giangarra off an assist from freshman Morgan Sinton.  Sinton's assist was her second of the game.  The goal was the second of two straight for the Blue Devils after they trailed 3-2 with 19:27 left in the half.

The Blue Devils had goals from four different players in the first half, but trailed by four at the half.  Army held a 19-14 edge in shots.  Branthover made six saves before the break.

Down 10-7, the Blue Devils posted a run that pushed the score to 10-9.  Szawlowski's second goal of the game made it 10-8, and then junior Kylie Sullivan's goal with 15:34 left made it 10-9.  After Soto's goal cut an Army lead to 11-10 with 12:57 to play, the Cadets would scored three straight to make it 13-10.

A late Central goal from freshman Alaigra Usher made the final score 13-11.
