Alexandra O'Hara has joined the Central Connecticut women's lacrosse program as a volunteer Graduate Assistant Coach for the 2018 season. O'Hara was a the 2015-16 William Smith College Lacrosse Captain during her playing career.
As a player and captain at William Smith, O'Hara faciliated team meetings and strived to strengthen her team's culture. O'Hara was a member of the William and Smith Rising Stars and The Core team as a leadership representative.
O'Hara not only excelled on the playing field, but also demonstrated a committment to academic excellence at William Smith as a 2015 Shirley Zornow '47 Lacrosse Coach's Award recipient, a 2015 NCAA Academic All-American candidate and an IWLCA Lacrosse All-Academic selection in 2015 and 2016.
She graduated cum laude in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in European Studies.
O'Hara is currently pursuing a Master's of Secondary Education, with a concentration in history at Central Connecticut.
