Both players were named to the All-Conference First Team following the 2010 season in which Central finished 9-9-2 overall and 5-3-2 in NEC action. Central qualified for the NEC Tournament for the ninth consecutive season, the longest active streak in the league.
The Central Connecticut men's and women's soccer teams have been honored with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Academic Award for the 2009-10 academic year. Central is one of 129 schools that had both their men's and women's team recognized. To be eligible for the award a team must obtain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
