The Central Connecticut women's soccer team has announced Celebration Night to be held on Saturday, April 13. The event, which will celebrate the 2018 Northeast Conference champions, will be held in the Constitution Room in Memorial Hall on the CCSU campus at 7:00 p.m. The evening will include a buffet, cash bar, silent auction and championship ring presentation.
Tickets for the evening are $40 per person and a portion of each ticket will support the women's soccer program. The evening will include a buffet, a cash bar and the team will be presented with their 2018 NEC championship rings. A silent auction will also be held.
CCSU finished the season with a 16-2-2 record went a perfect 8-0 in league play. Central's .850 win percentage ranked 4th nationally in the NCAA. The Blue Devils won their ninth Northeast Conference championship in program history to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the seventh time under head coach Mick D'Arcy. The CCSU coaching staff was named Regional Coaching Staff of the Year and several individuals earned numerous conference and regional honors, including senior Charlotte Maurer who was named a Scholar All-American.
