The Central Connecticut, Duquesne and St. Francis (PA) swimming teams are working to raise $1,000 each to donate to The American Cancer Society of Pittsburgh. Throughout the month of October all three programs have raised money for breast cancer awareness.

The culmination of the fundraising efforts will be the Duquesne/St. Francis/CCSU Tri meet at Duquesne's Towers Pool on October 29 at 1 p.m.

The teams are asking for a donation to be made at the door if you are able to attend this event.

Following the meet, the three teams will submit their efforts to The American Cancer Society of Pittsburgh. The hope is for this to become a yearly event, with the last fundraiser being at the home team's pool.  All donations will go to the team's local Cancer Society.

Every bit can help our effort even if you are unable to make the meet, fans are asked to make donation. You can mail your donation to:

If you choose to write a check, make it out to The American Cancer Society of Pittsburgh. On the Memo line please write Donations through Duquesne Swimming for Breast Cancer. All three teams thank you in advance for the help you are able to give towards their efforts.
