Ashley Mara

Bio

Ashley Mara returned to the CCSU Athletics staff in April 2024 as the Home Events Coordinator. In that role, she is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all home athletic events, as well as scheduling of athletic facilities for practices and events.

Mara, earned her B.S in Physical Education from Central in 2012. She was a four-year member of the Blue Devils lacrosse team.

BEFORE CCSU

Northwest Catholic High School Director of Athletics (2019-24)

• Coordinated all Northwest Catholic athletic events, games, practices, tournaments, championships, summer camps, and clinics.
• Oversaw athletic fundraising, in coordination with the Director of Advancement, including the annual golf tournament and spearheaded fundraising initiatives for new athletic facilities
• Fostered alumni relationships for the athletics department through hosting events
