Men's Cross Country Tabbed Favorites in NEC Preseason Poll
The Central Connecticut State men's cross country team was tabbed to defened its title in the preseason poll of NEC head coaches, announced Monday by the conference office.
CCSU was a unanimous pick, and followed by Wagner, Stonehill, LIU and Saint Francis U at the top of the poll. The Blue Devils have won 12 NEC titles since 2009.
Saint Francis U will host the 2025 edition of the NEC Men's Cross Country Championships on November 1 at B & D Acres Farm in Tyrone, PA. All 10 NEC institutions are eligible to participate in the championship
The 2025 campaign begins on August 30 at the Father Bede Invitational in Tyrone, PA. The Blue Devils will host the Ted Owen Invitational on September 20 and the CCSU Mini Meet on October 24. Both events will be run at Stanley Quarter Park
