The CCSU Dance Team is a major part of the excitement and spirit of Central Connecticut State University. Along with performing at Football and Men’s and Women’s Basketball games, the team can be seen performing at other campus and community events around the New Britain area.
 
This season there are 21 dancers focused on their education to build a career while fully supporting CCSU athletics. This dedicated team provides more than just entertainment. Dance Team is proud to have brought national recognition to the university. This past year included placing 4th in the Gameday division at
the UDA College National Dance Team Championship. The team competes annually at the national championship in the D1 Hip Hop and Pom categories.
