Central Lacrosse Set to Host Friends of Jaclyn Event
The week of March 1-8, 2009 will be the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Friends of Jaclyn Week. The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization that improves the quality of life for children with pediatric brain tumors and their families. CCSU's first home game against Siena on March 8 will be a Friends of Jaclyn event to help support this cause.

The Blue Devil lacrosse team will be wearing Friends of Jaclyn long sleeve shirts during pre-game warm-ups. All teams participating in Friends of Jaclyn events across the nation will be wearing these shirts and all proceeds will go to the foundation. CCSU will also have a donation box at the March 8 game to help support the foundation.
