The Blue Devils were named to the 2011 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

Alasia Griebel finished fifth to led the Blue Devil women at the Ted Owen Invitational.
Sophomore Elizabeth Eberhardt finished 19th with a time of 19:26.9.
The Central Connecticut women's cross country team came away with a third place finish at the Blue Devil Invitational at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain. Competing in the event along with the Blue Devils was Southern Connecticut, Holy Cross, the University of New Haven, and the University of Connecticut. Central Connecticut finished with 79 points behind Holy Cross who finished second with 54 points and the University of Connecticut who finished first with 15 points.
Central Connecticut sophomore Krisztina Dearborn has earned a spot on the United States Junior Mountain Running Team. Dearborn and her junior teammates will join members of the U.S. men's and women's senior teams for the 2011 World Mountain Running Championships in Tirana, Albania on September 11.
