Men's Golf Seventh at Leo Keenan Invitational
Round 2 will be played on Monday
The Central Connecticut men's golf team sits in seventh place after the first round of the Leo Keenan Invitational on Sunday. The tournament is being hosted by St. Bonaventure University and is being played at Bartlett Country Club. A shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. on Monday will complete the two round tournament.
Robert Morris leads the field with a score of 288, followed by St. Bonaventure (291), Northern Kentucky (293) and Drexel and St. Francis U, both with a score of 295.
The Blue Devils are 14 strokes behind the leader with a score of 302 on Sunday.
Sophomore Anthony Sebastianelli is tied for 18th place after shooting a 74 on Sunday. Classmate Brandon Raine shot a 75 and is tied for 25th place. Senior Jack Ayers shot 76, followed by junior Nick Direda and sophomore Austin Forauer who each shot a 77.
