Blue Devils Visit Wagner Seahawks
The Central Connecticut women's basketball team travels to Wagner for a Saturday afternoon showdown.
The Central Connecticut women's basketball team will visit Wagner College in the opening game of a Northeast Conference doubleheader. The Central and Wagner men will play the second game on Saturday.
The Blue Devils (6-9, 0-4 NEC) are looking for their first conference win of the season. The Seahawks (2-13, 1-3) are riding an eight game losing streak, but currently sit one spot ahead of Central in the NEC standings thanks to a victory over St. Francis (NY) on December 3rd.
The Blue Devils hold a 16-13 advantage in the all-time Division I series between these schools. Central has won four straight against Wagner and 8-of-10 dating back to the 2004-05 season. Under Beryl Piper, the Blue Devils are 5-of-6 against Wagner.
