Rossi Is Northeast Conference Diver of the Week Again
Kristen Rossi has competed in three weeks of diving in 2009. The Central Connecticut State University senior now has three Northeast Conference Diver of the Week honors this season. She earned the accolades for the third straight week after her performance at the Blue Devils' dual meet with Boston University on Saturday.
Kristen Rossi has competed in three weeks of diving in 2009. The Central Connecticut State University senior now has three Northeast Conference Diver of the Week honors this season. She earned the accolades for the third straight week after her performance at the Blue Devils' dual meet with Boston University on Saturday.
Rossi led the CCSU divers with identical finishes and near identical point totals in the two diving events. The Southington, CT native scored 191.55 points to place fourth in the one-meter dive. She also earned a fourth-place finish in the three-meter event, recording a score of 190.60. It was her highest score in the three-meter dive this season.
The CCSU swimmers will compete this weekend in the Terrier Invitational at Boston University, while Rossi and the divers will head to the Harvard Diving Invitational. Both competitions will take place over November 20, 21 and 22.
