Vestergaard Leads Blue Devils at Invite
Senior Madison Vestergaard led the Blue Devils at the CCSU Diving Invite placing in the top five in both of today's diving events.
The Central Connecticut diving team wrapped up an impressive day at the CCSU Diving Invitational. Providence, Stonybrook, Fairfield, and Wagner were all in attendance. The women's competition hosted 11 divers all competing in the 1 meter and 3 meter diving events.
Senior Madison Vestergaard placed fifth in the 1 meter event with a score of 179.00. Vestergaard improved in the 3 meter event scoring a 187.35, good for fourth place.
Sophomore Kaitlyn Dwyer scored a 121.45 in the 1 meter and a 116.45 in the 3 meter.
The Blue Devil swimming & diving team will be back in action on October 29th at Duquesne.
