Men's XC Named to All-Academic Team

The USTFCCCA released the 2011 Division I Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team on Wednesday.

The Central Connecticut men's cross country team was honored by the USTFCCCA on Wednesday.  The Blue Devils were named to the 2011 USTFCCCA Division I Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team for their academic performance.  Central qualified to be on the list with a cumulative team GPA of 3.33, a minimum GPA of 3.00 was required.

A total of 147 institutions composed the group.  Central Connecticut was one of six Northeast Conference teams who earned this prestigious honor.  Monmouth, Quinnipiac, Robert Morris, Sacred Heart, and St. Francis (P.A.) joined the Blue Devils as NEC representitives.
