Gravel, Cancellieri Take Top Spots At UMass Last Chance Meet

Gravel won the 800, while Cancellieri captured the 5000

Three members of the women's track and field team competed Thursday afternoon at the UMass Last Chance Meet.

Kaylee Gravel ran 2:17.18 in the 800m, and took the top spot in the event. Juliana Cancellieri (17:31.45) and Rebecca Carusone (18:39.57) both ran the 5000m and crossed the line in first and second place respectivly.

CCSU will have student-athletes in action at the IC4A/ECAC Championship Friday-Sunday, as well as the Princeton Last Chance meet on Saturday.
