Second Half Goal Sinks Men's Soccer at LIU
A goal late in the second half sunk the Central Connecticut men's soccer team at LIU in a 1-0 setback in Northeast Conference action in Brookville, NY, on Sunday. The Sharks broke a scoreless deadlock with a score in the 84th minute and held the Blue Devils without a shot over the final six minutes.
The Blue Devils host Stonehill on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. for Senior Day.

KEY MOMENTS
- Central had its first scoring opportunity just over 10 minutes into the game when Ethan Agyare-Danso got free on the left wing, but his shot was tipped wide setting up a corner kick.
- The sides were scoreless in the opening period with the Blue Devils holding a 3-2 advantage in shots on frame in the half.
- The game-winner came in the waning minutes when Jack Fridman won the ball at midfield and slipped a pass to Alan Martinez who drove towards net and shot from outside the 18-yard box putting his shot just inside the left post to make it 1-0.
