Men's Soccer Falls to Howard on Sunday
The Central Connecticut men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 setback against Howard on Sunday in NEC action. The Bison broke a scoreless deadlock with a trio of second half goals played in blustery conditions.

KEY MOMENTS
- The teams played a scoreless first half, with Brio Leavitt making a trio of stops to keep Howard off the board, while Youssef Shafei had CCSU's lone shot of the opening half.
- Central would open the second half with a pair of strong scoring chances. Just over a minute into the period, Anthony Catanzaro got the ball along the left wing and put a shot on target that was stopped by Liam Keiller. In the 58th minute, the Blue Devils got the ball along the endline and slipped a ball by Keiller in front of net, but no one was able to get a boot to the ball.
- Eventually, the ball came back around to Gavin Bravado near the top of the penalty area and he took a long shot at the upper right corner, but Keiller made a diving attempt to send it over the goal.
- Howard opened the scoring in the 69th minute when Daniil Kaban managed to slide a cross into the front of goal where Ian Campbell charged onto it and put it into the left side of goal to make it 1-0.
- The Bison doubled the lead with just over 10 minutes left when Naim Robinson crossed from the left side and Kaban beat the defense to the ball to direct it in for a 2-0 lead.
- Howard added a goal with five minutes left when Campbell picked up the ball inside midfield and dribbled in before putting in a shot to the left side for the game's final goal.
