Men's Soccer Shutout in Season Finale at Saint Francis U
The Central Connecticut men's soccer team lost at Saint Francis U, 2-0, on Sunday in NEC action in Loretto, PA. The Blue Devils were playing their season-finale, while the Red Flash will be the second-seed in the postseason NEC Tournament.

KEY MOMENTS
- The teams were scoreless after the first period, but the Red Flash opened the scoring in the 59th minute. Andre Israel sent a long ball ahead that the Thero Mitchell III poked away from the Central defense. Mitchell ran onto the ball and poked it into an open net to make it 1-0.
- SFU doubled the lead less than a minute later after Volkan Celikkol got a pass to Mitchell III. He would control the ball and turn on the sideline to run into open space. His cross found Jonah Wolf in the middle of the field in front of goal where his kick went into the back of the net.
