Volleyball Sweeps Holy Cross for Season's First Win
The Central Connecticut volleyball team swept Holy Cross, 3-0, on Saturday at the Friar Classic. Olivia Keckler led CCSU with 18 kills as the Blue Devils hit .326 as a team.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Blue Devils did not trail in the opening set. A kill by Keckler would force a Crusader timeout after making it 16-12. CCSU would score four in a row and a kill by Breanna Ginley made it 21-13. A kill by Keckler would win the opening set, 25-15.
- Holy Cross bounced back and would go ahead, 5-1, in the second set. Central would charge to the lead with four straight points, including back-to-back aces by Annabelle Denommé. CCSU would extend its lead to 17-9 after two aces by Amanda Tokam before closing the set with three straight kills by Anja Milosevic.
- Molly Thomas served four straight points to give CCSU an early, 5-1, lead in the third frame. Holy Cross would close to within, 19-16, and force a Central timeout. The Blue Devils would maintain their lead and closed the match on back-to-back kills by Keckler.
