Volleyball Wraps Non-Conference Slate at Fordham Saturday
The Central Connecticut volleyball team finished out its non-conference portion of the schedule on Saturday, falling at Fordham 3-0 on Saturday. The Blue Devis' attack was neutralized by the Rams who combined for 14.0 blocks in the win.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Blue Devils opened the match with a kill by Breanna Ginley and an ace by Anja Milosevic, but the Rams would respond with six unanswered points to go ahead, 8-3. Fordham would not allow the set to get any closer as the margin expanded to double-digits before winning the opening frame.
- Central opened the second set by going ahead, 3-0, after back-to-back aces from Milosevic. The Blue Devils would tie the set at 6-all following a kill by Olivia Keckler before Fordham scored four straight points. CCSU would momentarily get within, 13-10, but Fordham did not relinquish the lead and closed the frame on an 8-1 run.
- A kill by Keckler made it 4-3 in the third set before Fordham scored five straight points. The Rams would only allow CCSU to score consecutive points once from there after a kill by Amanda Tokam and a block by Tokam and Isabella Aviles Martinez.
NUMBER TO KNOW
24 – CCSU was limited to its fewest kills (24) since the opening match of the season.

- Keckler had seven kills to lead CCSU and added three digs and two blocks.
- Milosevic had 17 assists, seven digs and three aces.
- Annabelle Denomme had a team-high 10 digs.
- Central is 10-8 all-time against Fordham.
