Cancelliari and Gravel Post Top-5 Finishes for Women's XC at Father Bede Invitational
The Central Connecticut women's cross country team opened the season at the Father Bede Invitational in Tyrone, PA, on Saturday. Juliana Cancellieri and Kaylee Gravel posted top-five finishes to help the Blue Devils place third in the team standings.

- Cancellieri placed second overall with a time of 14:53.90.
- Gravel placed fourth in 15:01.50
- Lillian Tabellione placed 11th with a time of 15:36.10
- Isabelle Mondo (15:54.00) and Isabella Jensen (16:09.10) placed 15th and 19th, respectively.
RACE NOTES
- Gina Bolla of Duquesne won the women's race in 14:47.20
- CCSU placed third in the team standings with 49 points. Duquesne (35) and Saint Francis U. (45) topped the standings.
