Cancellieri Earns All-New England Honors
The senior placed sixth to pace the women's cross-country team to an eighth-place finish
The Central Connecticut State women's cross-country team finished eighth as a team at the 2025 New England Championships, held at Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, NH. The Blue Devils scored 219 points on Friday, 55 points in front of NEC foe Stonehill, which placed 11th.
KEY PERFORMANCES
- Juliana Cancellieri earned All-New England honors by running to a sixth-place finish, with a time of 17:43.87 to pace the Blue Devils
- Maegan Desmarais crossed the line in 21st place, with a run of 18:19.88, while Kaylee Gravel was 27th with a run of 18:26.38
- Lillian Tabellione was the top rookie for CCSU, finishing 69th on the afternoon, in a time of 19:10.88
- Isabella Jensen rounded out the scoring for the Blue Devils, finishing 125th, 100 points, with a rim of 19:44.77
- Rachel Bartolucci, 137th, and Isabelle Mondo, 141st, ran times of 20:00.75 and 20:04.99 respectively
