Baseball Announces 2025 Slate
The Central Connecticut State University baseball team announced its 2025 slate on Wednesday. The campaign begins on Feb. 28 when CCSU opens a three-game set at Central Arkansas.
2025 Baseball Schedule Highlights
- Head coach Charlie Hickey will begin his 27th season at the helm of the Central Connecticut program.
- The Blue Devils will host 23 home contests, including five Northeast Conference weekend series'.
- Central will open the season at Central Arkansas on February 28-March 2.
- The home opener is Tuesday, March 4, against UAlbany.
- The opening NEC series will be on March 7-9 when Central travels to LIU. Central will host FDU on March 14-16 in its first home NEC series of the season.
- In addition to the home-opener, the Blue Devils non-conference slate includes home contests against Fairfield (March 18), Sacred Heart (April 1), Northeastern (April 9), Stony Brook (April 22) and Yale (April 30).
- Central will play mid-week non-conference games at Quinnipiac (March 11), St. John's (March 26), Fairfield (April 8), UAlbany (April 15), and Sacred Heart (May 6).
- The Blue Devils' home game against Coppin State on March 28 will be played at Dunkin' Park in Hartford.
- CCSU will honor its senior class when it hosts Stonehill to end the regular season May 9-11.
- The 2025 NEC Tournament will be played May 22-25. The championship will include six teams playing in a double-elimination tournament.
