2025 CCSU Baseball Alumni Golf Outing
The Central Connecticut Baseball Program invites all alumni & friends to the Annual CCSU Baseball Alumni Golf Outing, on July 10 at Tunxis Country Club. Rekindle old friendships and start new ones while raising money for CCSU baseball!

Join us for great fun, golf, prizes, food, drink, and a Blue Devil Gift you will love! Proceeds will benefit CCSU Baseball (scholarships, equipment, and program growth) and Shatterproof Organization (helping reduce addiction stigma and expand access to treatment and recovery). The day of golf package includes cart and green fees, range balls, lunch on the course, awards dinner, and player gifts. Awards will be given for the three best teams, closest to the pin, and longest drive (Men & Women). Tournament will take place rain or shine, unless canceled by Tunxis Plantation Country Club due to poor playing conditions. If there is a rain date conflict, player will be responsible for obtaining a replacement.

CCSU BASEBALL
Blue Devils baseball has a proud history dating back to 1935. After early success in NCAA Division II, the program transitioned to Division I in 2000 and joined the Northeast Conference "NEC". Since then, CCSU has secured nine NEC Tournament championships, with titles in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2010, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025. In 2025, the Blue Devils triumphed over Long Island University in a dramatic 12-inning Game 7, securing their ninth NEC championship and advancing to the NCAA Regionals in Auburn, AL. During the season, the Blue Devils dominated the NEC with a 17–1 conference record and a 22–7 overall mark. Coach Charlie Hickey also achieved his 800th career victory in 2025. He continues to lead a powerhouse in the Northeast Conference alongside Pat Hall, Rob Bono, and Bob Nenna, combining a rich history with ongoing success and a commitment to excellence.
SHATTERPROOF ORGANIZATION
Shatterproof, founded in 2013, is a national non-profit dedicated to transforming how substance use disorders (SUDs) are treated and understood. It works to reduce stigma, promote prevention, and guide individuals and families through treatment and recovery. Through evidence-based initiatives like Treatment Atlas–available in 14 states and expanding–Shatterproof helps people f ind quality care tailored to their needs. The organization unites a community of families, advocates, and supporters committed to ensuring that no one faces addiction alone. Shatterproof also leads public education efforts and organizes events like the Walk Series to raise awareness and funds. Together, we are Shatterproof.
