Women's Soccer Stopped In 2025 Home Opener
Dartmouth Tops CCSU, 2-0
The visiting Big Green of Dartmouth College scored one goal in each half to spoil the 2025 home opener for the Central Connecticut State University women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon in New Britain by a 2-0 score. Dartmouth is now 2-0-0 overall on the young season; while the Blue Devils are now 0-2-1.

- Dartmouth had the better of the play in the early going of the contest, but the Blue Devils' backline held firm to keep the visitors off the scoreboard during the opening 30 minutes of action.
- The Big Green got on the board in the 33rd minute of play off an own goal that scored when a cross spilled out of the hands of CCSU's goalkeeper Melina Ford and deflected off a teammate to tickle just over the goal line.
