Women's Soccer Trio Earns All-New England
Radoncic named first team, while Ford and Yepes named to third team
Three members of the Central Connecticut State women's soccer team were recognized with All-New England honors by the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association.
Emma Radoncic earned First-Team All-New England, while Kiley Yepes and Melina Ford were both named Third-Team All-New England.
Radoncic adds the All-New England honor to an impressive list of accolades from the 2025 seasons. She was named the NEC Defensive Player of the Year, the 11th Blue Devil to earn that accolade, as well as being named to the United Soccer Coaches All Region Fourth Team and All-ECAC First Team. She helped anchor a back line that allowed just 1.00 goals per game in NEC play and won or tied 10 of 11 league games played in the regular season. She also provided the Blue Devils with offense, leading the team with four goals and a league-best three game-winning tallies. Her two assists made her the top point scorer on the team, with 10 points. Radoncic was an NEC All-Rookie selection in 2024.
Ford took home the program's seventh (in 17 years) Goalkeeper of the Year award and was named Fourth-Team All-Region by the US Soccer Coaches as well. She finished the NEC slate with a .956 GAA, with a league-leading five clean sheets in those contests. She posted a .811 save percentage in league play, with 43 saves and just 10 goals allowed. On the year, Ford posted a 1.22 GAA and finished with 77 saves on the season. Ford made 10 saves, a season-high in the NEC semifinal win, her sixth shutout of the season.
Yepes earns All-New England for the second time, after earning All-NEC Second Team accolades each of the past three seasons. She started every game this season and averaged 87.5 minutes a game on the field. She scored the first goal of the season for the Blue Devils, to earn a draw and then had an assist on the game-winning goal in the league win at Chicago State.
