Morabito Named NEC Track Athlete Of The Week

Central Connecticut State redshirt freshman Mya Morabito was named the NEC Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, after a personal-best effort at the IC4A/ECAC Championship. She was as an NEC Prime Performer by Nuchwara Inthasit.
Morabito was 22nd in the 800m at the IC4A/ECAC Championship with a personal-best effort of 2:14.73. That is the fastest time run by an NEC athlete this winter.
Inthasit posted the third=-best 300m time in the league, 25.34, and the fourth fastest 60m (7.70) at the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Invite.
The Blue Devils are back in action Sunday and Monday as they compete at the 206 NEC Championship at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island, NY.
