Women's Track & Field Opens Indoor Campaign
Inthasit and Logan both earn second place finish in the opener
The Central Connecticut State women's track and field team opened the indoor portion of its season at the BU Sharon Colyear-Danvile Season Opener. The event was hosted by Boston University.
The meet was the teams only one of December, and the squad gets back to action on January 9th at the Bryant Indoor Throws competition and the TCNJ Winter Open.
- Nuchwara Inthasit was the top collegiate finisher in the 60m dash, second overall, crossing the line at 7.87
- Kayla Logan took the second spot in the 400m run, crossing at 58.01
- Inthasit was the squads-fastest in the 200m as well, placing fifth with a run of 25.83, while Logan stopped the clock at 26.37 to finish 10th
- Mya Morabito ran in the mile, finishing 17th with her time of 4:58.16, in a field that started with 48 competitors
- Maegan Desmarais ran 10:02.04 in the 3000m, finishing 73rd in a field of 102entrants
