Desmarais' School-Record Highlights Women's Track and Field at Raleigh Relays Friday
The Central Connecticut State women's track and field highlighted its performances at the Raleigh Relays with a new school-record and three more personal-bests. Maegan Desmarais would set a new program-mark in the 3000m steeple to headline the Blue Devils' runs on Friday.

TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
- Desmarais won the first section and set a new school-best mark in the 3,000m steeple with a time of 10:25.58
- Alissa Hurd opened the Blue Devils' day by setting a personal-best in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.84.
- Nuchwara Inthasit would also clock an outdoor personal best, turning in a time of 12.10.
- In the 400m, Kyrah Smith ran a 56.79 to set a new collegiate personal-best and place second in her section.
- Mya Morabito ran in the 1500m field of over 200+ runners and finished in 4:39.74.
FIELD HIGHLIGHTS
- Ciara Adu-Addo won her triple jump flight with a best mark of 11.78m. Her leap would place 14th in the field.
- Maya Marin had a best mark of 42.13m in the discus and had the 24th-best throw in the field.
