Track & Field Teams Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors
Greyson Golda honored with All-Academic status as an individual
The Central Connecticut men's and women's track and field teams were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their academic performance during the 2025-26 competition season, with the All-Academic Team Award.

NCAA Regional qualifier Greyson Golda, a sophomore exercise science major, earned All-Academic status as an individual.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
The women's team captured both the indoor and outdoor NEC Track and Field Championships this season to complete the triple crown. The squad combined for a 3.29 GPA during 2025-26.
The men's team captured a second consecutive NEC Indoor crown in February and posted a 3.16 team GPA on the season.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) is a New Orleans, Louisiana-based professional association representing men's and women's cross country and track & field coaches in the United States. The organization has about 8,000 members representing nearly 94% of NCAA track & field programs are members of USTFCCCA. The group serves as an advocate for coaches, providing a national forum to address their needs. It also serves as a lobbyist for coaches' interests, and a "liaison between the various stakeholders" in the sport.
