Golda Closes Season At NCAA Regional
Golda is the third Blue Devil in three seasons to advance to the regional
Central Connecticut State sophomore Greyson Golda made his NCAA Regional debut on Wednesday night in the shot put.
Golda finished 47th in the field, that saw the top-12 earn berths to the NCAA Championship. Golda notched his best throw, 16.36m on his final effort. His second-round throw was 15.96m.
A native of Bethel, CT Golda was one of four NEC student-athletes to earn a berth in the NCAA Regional. Golda, the NEC Outdoor Championship Most Outstanding Performer, is the fifth Blue Devil to compete at the outdoor regional since 2022, and the third in as many seasons.
