Golda School Record Highlights Men's Track And Field At UConn Northeast Regional

The sophomore won the discus event

A school record highlighted the Central Connecticut State men's track and field team was in action effort at the UConn Northeast Challenge on Friday afternoon.

Greyson Golda set a school record in the discus, throwing 43.34m.

Golda's school record in the discus was the top throw at the event, as he captured gold

Tristan Smith posted a personal-best in the discus with a throw of 45.73m, which was good for ninth place in the event, with Zane Baton placing 22nd after a 41.41m effort

Alexander Figueiredo finished 11th in the long jump, with his 6.69m effort and Nathanyel Davis finished 14th with a jump of 6.26m

Zachary Bonini threw the javelin 49.21m, good for 14th place, while Kyle Martin threw 48.03m, a season-best, to earn 16th place
