Women's Basketball Opens 2026, NEC Play Friday At Home, Sunday On The Road
CCSU welcomes LIU to Kaiser Hall at 4pm on January 2nd
The Central Connecticut State women's basketball team begins NEC play at home on Friday, January 2nd at 4:00 pm when it hosts LIU. The Blue Devils then travel to intrastate league foe New Haven on Sunday, for a 1:00 pm contest.

OPENING NOTES
• The Blue Devils won their 2023-24 NEC opener, defeating Stonehill 71-59 in Kaiser Hall on Jan. 8, 2024. This is the fourth consecutive season with the league opener at home.
• CCSU made a season-best 26 field goals, shooting 40 percent from the field, versus UNH. The Blue Devils were 7-16 from behind the arc that day as well - also season-bests

• Lucia Noin leads is averaging 6.3 rebounds per game, tops on the team and 8th in the NEC through 12/31. She has six or more boards in seven games this season - including the last three - and grabbed a season-high 12 at Dartmouth.
• Kayla Henry scored a career-high 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting against Vermont.
• Kiyah Lewis has averaged 8.3 points per game, with 12 versus New Hampshire, in three games since returning from a two-game absence.
