Volleyball's Season Ends at LIU on Saturday
The Central Connecticut volleyball team fell at LIU, 3-0, in Northeast Conference action on Saturday. Lauren Milani led the Blue Devils with 10 kills in the season finale.

KEY MOMENTS
- A kill by Weronika Poczynek opened the scoring in the match but LIU would score four straight points from there. A kill by Kaylin Hadley got CCSU within, 9-7, but the Sharks would build a 1 5-9 lead and force a Central timeout. Olivia Keckler ended the run with a kill but LIU would stretch the lead to 22-12 and closed the set with back-to-back kills.
- Poczynek opened the second set with a kill again and after a kill by Keckler and an ace by Milani, CCSU led 5-3. LIU would regroup and went ahead 11-7 before pushing its lead to 16-11 to force a timeout. CCSU would tie the score at 20-20 after a kill by Amanda Tokam, but LIU would eventually take the set on an ace.
- A kill by Milani would tie the set 3-3, but LIU responded with five straight points. The margin grew to 17-5 before CCSU would put together a five-point run. A kill by Hadley started a streak of four points served by Isabella Bratzke. LIU would close the match with six straight points.
