Graziose, Salvati Earn NEC Baseball Weekly Honors
Central Connecticut infielder Matt Graziose was named NEC Baseball Player of the Week and right-hander Kyle Savati was recognized as NEC Baseball Pitcher of the Week it was announced Monday. Both were also recognized as Prime Performers after helping CCSU to three wins last week.
Graziose led the Blue Devils' lineup last week, slashing .438/1.188/.474 in four games. He had back-to-back two-homerun games at Sacred Heart and at Mercyhurst, while boosting his season total to a team-high seven. On the season, he is hitting .290 with 24 RBIs.

Salvati scattered five hits over 9.0 innings and struck out 11, while walking one in the series-opener at Mercyhurst. He allowed one run in a 5-1 win, tossing the first complete game for a Blue Devil since April 12, 2024 and recording the most strikeouts since April 5, 2025. He has a 2-2 record and has struck out 64 batters in 62.2 inning with a 4.74 ERA on the season.
