CCSU BASEBALL
Blue Devils baseball has a proud history dating back to 1935. After early success in NCAA Division II, the program transitioned to Division I before joining the Northeast Conference, the "NEC", in 2000. Since then, CCSU has secured nine NEC Tournament championships, with titles in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2010, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025. In 2025, Coach Charlie Hickey achieved his 800th career victory. He continues to lead the Blue Devils in the NEC alongside Pat Hall, Rob Bono, and Bob Nenna, combining a rich history with ongoing success and a commitment to excellence. Beyond onfield accomplishments, the program is deeply committed to developing young individuals both personally and professionally, preparing student-athletes to succeed as leaders, teammates, and professionals long after their playing careers conclude.
